I play akali way too much and she's pretty OP at 3s. 3s is pretty easy to consistently do well in as well, once you get the hang of it.

LeBlanc is free and I've been doing pretty sick with her in the last few games. I'd get Udyr but I'm not sure if I really want to jungle. And Morgana, she's just really good.

If you play pantheon one of the biggest mistakes you can get is leveling up your heartseeker strike over spear throw. Spear throw is the best harass in the game pretty much, max it first. Put one point in shield slam at level 2, one point in E at 4, and make sure Q is maxed at 9.

Some dude suggested Ability Power Rammus to me. That shit is so whack. Sure, it's cool to powerball in for over 700 damage, and tremors rapes, but I was dead before I could get halfway through a tremors cast. My Rammus style is very much about max survivability in teamfights so I can deal with crowd control and then seek and destroy and survivors.

I've been playing nasus, he's amazing. You just farm your Q for the first 15-20 minutes of the game and then you run around and pop your ult on people to shit on them. By the time you have trinity force and a few tank items you're an unstoppable killing machine ^____^.

I tried two rounds with Master Yi. I maxed out his attack speed and gave him 200 damage, and he still couldn't do shit to anyone because he had NO way to shrug off their stuns. They ate him alive.

Considering NO one goes into matches anymore without a stun (or slow,) he's worthless as a dps because his health is like a cracker in water.

A viable master yi needs some serious early game play. Have to get ahead and gank hard and, like any good carry, not get blown up. I would never call him useless as he is horrifying when fully fed.

Played last night for the 3rd time since Cataclysm dropped. It was embarrassing.

Started a quick practice game against a bro of mine who also has been MIA (4 bots each, just to learn mechanics.) I was farming like a pro as Morde and ganked the shit out of my friend like some sort of awful heavy metal freight train and was like ok, let's take it pub.

At first it was good. Got ahead early as Morde mid against MF (3-0.) But then as team play started to develop our Annie went 0-5 early (ended 0-9, number only staying single digits due to a 5 minute disconnect,) our Rammus had the poorest initiating I've ever seen (nice powerball into the creep wave, bro, MF is still ulting,) and a Kennen who was content to farm creep waves (but not last hit them, miraculously.) Ended up 7-9-4 as their MF got fed to shit. Overall not too bad on my part but a firm loss on the books.

Went Rammus with my buddy laning as Veigar. I was content to float around the bushes and taunt/powerball when their combo got cheeky as Veigar farmed up his AP.
I had a couple piss-poor initiations and left the laning phase 0-2-1, and then learned I forgot my passive ability [Map Awareness.] Sweet jesus stuff was going on like half a bush away from me and I was just derping along. I also forgot how to initiate and powerball. It was such a shitty feeling because I have yet to see a Rammus that was better than I was before I played Cata. I'd typically have 4 or 5 kills before laning was over and from there it was just seek and destroy while controlling any teamfight. But this? I was rolling around the jungle just getting picked off. I was lucky to end 1-7-2.

Seen it in practice a couple of times. Yeah, it kind of is. The ring will either box everyone in, giving an advantage to the team with the most close-combat ability, or box everyone out, meaning Jarvan can't get any assist on his kill inside. Oh, and he can't move while the wall is up, so ranged chars can pick him off 'til it fades or he casts that flag-lunging thing.

His ult basically puts himself in a pen and lets everyone throw stuff into it. Usually exploding, painful, spiky stuff. :DDD:

So I just finished a match. We spent the entire time absolutely sucking. Top died a bunch of times in the early game, feeding their Xin, Yi, and TF. We went through a bunch of teamfights and they killed us every time.

About halfway through the game, they made a five-man push on our second bottom turret, but couldn't tank it properly. I was Cho, and I went with a Teemo and took the entire row of towers in the top lane, all the way to their inhibitor. This pretty much scattered them and left their turrets exposed the entire time.

In the endgame, they killed every single champ that entered their base, but not before we got all the inhibitors. We weren't even there when the super minions swarmed it and took the nexus.

I am STILL reeling.

Long story short: You can have a thirty-kill lead, but if you don't know when to push and when to defend it ain't worth jack.

The first time I played against him, I didn't know I was against him. ( I usually minimize at the loading screen, I just missed him on it at first glance ) Anyways, I was mid as Vlad and going against a Ryze and out-laning him pretty hard as I should. I hit level 9 or so and all of a sudden I hear Nocturnes ult, and my friend in vent is yelling "what the fuck man?!" and I play the game with headphones pretty loud, so the sound his ult made literally scared the shit out me.

But in all honesty, his ult's priority is

Killing Tryndamere > Kill Stealing > Killing escaped gankees.

I cannot believe we just won that game. When I banned teemo the dude said I'd regret it. He then picked soraka even though we already had sona and taric. Usually one support is good, two is bad, three you would think would just plain suck. APPARENTLY NOT. We had heals out the asshole and just kited htem around once things got hairy. I'm going to see how how I can get my ranked elo from exclusively playing sona. At 1414 atm :3 She's literally the best babysitter in the game imo. Some people like taric and janna more, but as good as they are, they actually take effort to play, while I run around as sona never dying and buffing the shit out of everyone while spamming all my keys at once; only spell I have to aim is my ult which can save someone on my team from even a 5man gank.

A salaried worker from the art department may have a few hours to burn here or there.

Riot also makes it very clear that community involvement and on-demand content is the business model they pursue. Keeping folks interested with the humor (See: Brolaf video and other novelties that staff had to put the time in to make) is one way to keep the community paying attention.

Around level 14 I'm hitting people for half their HP with Parrrley, and I save so many lives with my ult's slow. With Flash coupled with your W, it's really easy to get out of a gang too.

I have been desperately trying to find a way to play Tristana so that she does not suck horribly.

It has NOT been an easy challenge.

With a slow that puts her right next to enemy champs and negates her ranged, an escape that has a second delay and leaves her vulnerable to attacks as it goes off, a health bar that can't sustain for shit, a range which is beaten by any decent Lux and Cait up to level 13, and an ult that does minimal damage and is difficult as hell to use and not propel an easy target to safety, she is all but worthless for the first 30 minutes, if not more, and any deviation from some sort of genius build I haven't found yet is an easy way to drag your team to a loss. All I know for now is that if you start the game with anything but doran's blade you will die and fail many times over.

I've given her attack speed, attack damage, splash damage, hell even a couple of tank builds, and she has been subpar on every front.

It's a shame, because her character art's pretty awesome...

Get down the timing of the ult and the sapling and that kill score goes through the roof. Love it.

I played a Maokai last night, as Mundo. I got utterly raped early game by him and Miss Fortune in a lane. He apparently got buffed out the ass and he's extremely absurd(like you said). He doesn't do a terrible amount of damage but it's noticeable. He'll fuck your entire team in a team fight though, or snare/stun you til' next week. I'm glad he got buffed though, he's one of my favorite champs.

Brand is extremely good, yet balanced character that fills a really good niche role in team fights. Nocturne is also really, and really the only champion other than Brand that's been released recently that people regularly play. He has like 2000g in passive abilities, a spellshield, a fear, and a lolwut ulti.. oh and a free ghost.

You'll be able to put alot of pressure in mid with your built in ignite. I laned against a Brand as Ryze and he did twice my damage because of it.

Yeah, but I think Ryze is overall much better than Brand, for sure. More reliable CC, slightly less AoE and a shit-load more durable.

My Brand build that I ALWAYS use is

Mana Crystal + MP/Mana Pot > Catalyst > Boots of Ionia > Morello's > Rod of Ages > Rabadons

Once you have all those items you'll be sitting at around 30% CDR, 2700hp, and 400 AP. Works really well, since his AP ratios are pretty shitty. (.5 and .6) This way you can use your combo a hell of a lot more, and you won't have mana problems either, plus, the ulti cooldown drops to around 43 seconds.

I think I told you all before that I chose my runes completely at random based entirely on impulse of what I thought I needed at the time just to fill up the pages. I am well aware of what they currently look like. That is, TOTAL SHITE.
