I figured I'd resurrect this little thread from the old forum. Sometimes it helps reflecting on what’s good about our lives, then what’s not (even if the bad out numbers the good).

I'm happy that Big Chief finally got the forums up, not because I was crazy to get back on or anything, but mainly because he was try so damn hard to get it up. The forum that is. It's nice to see it worked out.

I'm also happy for my wife (who puts up with my crap) and my son, who reminds me its the simple things that count and that acting like a child, even when you are an adult, is something everyone should do on occasion (Like when I ran around dressed up as a black knight for his medieval birthday party and sword fought all the kids. Pictures forthcoming).

I have an awesome girlmate, my beloved Akari, that I guard like a treasure in my mountain lair. She has been wondrous to me, and easily tolerates my excessive megalomania. We've been together for about ten and a half months, and we've passed hurdles easily by walking around them with confident smiles.

She and I are mates, and that term's eternal. I am happy she appreciates that I have the patience of a Great Old One, yet not quite the appetite. Well, maybe a teensy bit. Either way, her soul is safe with me. And it always will be. I haven't had a true bad day in a long time.

What is it with Assistant managers claiming so much power?

Anyhow, daily affirmation, I had a Coca Cola Icee. Damned good. And the ladymate, who keeps me from having diarrhea.

I'm staying at a modestly thin size, and have been watching my food intake for ages now. I've been ahead of the obesity crisis before it became one.

Outside of that.... not much else. Work is long and slow, only friend's out of the country, bored and discontent.

Not really, but I do remember Tim, that druggy guy whose inner lining of his ass fell out while he was using your bathroom and you had to take him to the ER. Good times, good times.

On Topic:

I’m happy my ass hasn’t fallen out. Yet.

I'm a pretty big hit at the workplace. Co-workers (See: Burger Flippers, Drive Thru people) seem to confide to me all the other people they hate working with, Managers seem to blast those co-workers by telling me that I'm going to get alot more shifts soon because I work harder than them and they like me.
