Start stocking up on canned foods and survival gear, folks. One week from today, the Xbox Live service will be going down for server maintenance. According to Major Nelson's most recent blog post, Microsoft is flipping the "off" switch at 12:01 a.m. on June 16, and is expected to keep things offline for "up to 24 hours." Yes, for an entire day, the vile hatred and foul-mouthedness that consumes the online gaming universe will be freed from its fiberglass prison and released into the physical world. We humbly suggest staying indoors.

Live down 24 hours on the Ghostbusters release date. Bad call, Microsoft. Bad call.

What's an "X-Box?"

Isn't that one of those expensive sculptures with the red light ring on it?

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I may not own an X-Box, but Big Chief can’t play Ghostbusters on X-Box live and no one should be subjected to such horridness.

All too often, yes. Hey, it's Microsoft. Getting hardware to crash is just an extension of their primary function.
