This summer has not been kind to the legends. Or maybe it has, finally giving some of them peace. :sad:

I remember when people still trusted what he said as gospel... then he almost single-handedly (and erroneously) declared defeat in Vietnam during the Tet offensive - - a battle we actually won, and decisively - - and discovered that he had the power to shape, not just report, world events... and it was downhill from there.
