I just played through anniversary and legend. I never played any of the originals, but I didn't really like anniversary, and I loved legend. Can't wait to work through underworld. I started playing it then went and bought legend as soon as the amanda chick showed up because I wanted to know where she came from.

edit: After playing it, I liked underworld, the controls were shitty like the other tomb raider games, but the environments and story were great. Esp with the really pretty graphics this time around.

Just checked wiki and yes anniversary is a remake, I didnt even know about chronicles, the angel of darkness, legend or the remake.
