Little Bug here.

For those of you who do not already know...I am Big Chief Knockemboots wife. He and DUNE are the reason I use the name Little Bug. A story I will go into ONLY if someone ask for more details.


Aside from that...you have to figure out the rest from reading my post when I make it on!!!

Would I need to know about DUNE in order to understand the story? Otherwise, I am asking for details!

No, you don't really need to know about DUNE...but you should watch it. Really good movies!

Details.

In the movie there is a small plane type thing that looks like a bug. While we were watching the movie BCK said "GO LITTLE BUG!!!" as if he were an over zealous 5 year old kid watching the movie hoping for the "little bug" to get away from the bad guys.

A few days later I was doing something and he said "GO LITTLE BUG!!!" in the same manor to me. The nickname then stuck when later that night my name on both UGO forums was changed from Jadednites and Niteshade to Little Bug. It is also my name on the one other forum I am registered on, Gamers Republic.

In the book, the "little bug" was an ornithopter, an airplane that flies by flapping it's wings like a bird. Evidently, the special effects folks couldn't come up with a way to not make that look goofy.
