This thread is for any new folks entering this forum who haven't a clue of our rules, and simply clicked "I agree" to the vbulletin requirement of not posting porn, and other tl;dr sorts of things without doing much scanning.
The golden rule here is use your common sense. If you're thinking hard about posting something, that it might be inappropriate or provocative, then chances are you probably should not post it. Things here are pretty lax, so any intentional pressing of the rules is an insult to the patience and hospitality of the admin and moderators. Such foolishness can and will result in disciplinary action. But assuming you are reasonable and relatively courteous, then there will be no problems. People come here after a long day of work or frustrating unemployment, and they should not have to see some miscreant running around swinging his genitalia around like a monkey. Such behavior will result in the removal of the member. Sorry Maddox, but that pun was intended.
Anyhow, just keep in mind the golden rule. Use your common sense, attempt to have jovial banter with other ladies and gentlemen here, and don't cause trouble.
As for an introduction, good props would be to:
Have an interesting title
State who you are
Say if you are from another familiar forum, with familiar members
Give a few random facts about yourself(Favorite video games, personal interests, etc)
Conclude, and say what brought you here in the first place
Or just say "Hi".
Overall, kick back and enjoy the refreshments. We just got the new sofas in, and they have cup holders. Have a spot of fun, shall you?
